Club President Victor Oliveira hires technical director Justin Resendes. Justin Resendes has been a member of the New England Revolution Academy coaching staff for the past 4 years. As a member of the staff he served as an assistant coach with the U-16 and U-18 academy teams, scout for the academy teams and the clubs manager of their sports performance programs across New England.
Justin was the former assistant men’s soccer coach at Johnson & Wales University where he helped guide the team to back to back conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances.
Justin grew up playing club soccer for Lusitana Sports FC, He then attended La Salle Academy, Providence, RI where he captained the team to a national ranking of 6th in the country. He also received All State Honors as well as 1st Team All Division and All-Tournament Team. Following high school Justin attended Central Connecticut State University to play soccer where he Red-Shirted his first fall season then transferred to the University of Rhode Island to pursue a degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in exercise science. While at the University of Rhode Island Justin played in the Premier Development League for the Rhode Island Stingrays for a 3 year period where he was also a staff coach for the club and helped run summer academies.
Justin is currently the Head Coach of the Cumberland High School Boys’ Soccer Team as well as a Revolution Academy RDS Staff Coach.
